Last updated September 29, 2026. Short version: your designs and keys are yours. We collect the minimum needed to run the bench.
Account profile. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from that provider. This identifies your session and nothing else.
Your boards. PCB projects you create (circuit files) and your design conversations with the agent are stored so they survive between visits — on your own machine in local use, or in our hosted database on the production service.
Your API keys — encrypted, never shared. Model keys you add are encrypted on our servers (AES-256-GCM), each locked to your account and its provider. They are decrypted only to call the AI provider you selected, never shown back to anyone, and never used for anything else.
Trying it without an account. A guest can design one board without signing in. The board and its conversation are stored like any other, kept for 7 days without a change, then deleted; signing up keeps them. Guest conversations run on a model we choose, whose provider may use those conversations to improve its models. Signed-in conversations never are.
No advertising trackers. No analytics beacons. Signed-in users' designs, prompts, and files are never used to train models — ours or anyone else's. We do not sell personal data, because there is nothing to sell.
An encrypted session cookie keeps you signed in (30 days). A guest gets a signed cookie that identifies their one board (7 days). Your theme choice and a few view preferences live in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Delete a board in the bench and its files are removed. To delete your account data entirely (profile + boards), write to [email protected] and it will be removed within 30 days.
